About Informed, the news app by Synapse Labs

What is Informed?

Informed is a news app for iPhone, made by Synapse Labs Pty Ltd in Australia. You can find us at readinformed.com, or Read Informed. The app brings together reporting from multiple publishers, with concise summaries, source links, follow-up questions and audio briefings.

Reporting comes first

Informed uses AI to write stories from published reporting. It does not claim to be the original reporter. Links to the publishers help you check the evidence, explore different coverage and read the original articles.

Learn how Informed works and how to request a correction. Publishers can read our publisher information and contact options.

Read, ask or listen

Start with the day's stories, explore a question or catch up with a daily news briefing. Informed helps you understand the news at the depth you have time for.
